It is only fitting that in the year when Trinidad & Tobago's "Soca Warriors" made it to the World Cup Tournament, that we honor two soccer greats from St. James. Known for their contribution to the Malvern vs Maple rivalry, and their contributution to the development of the game in the republic at large, this year, on June 2nd 2006, 8 days before the "Soca Warriors" play their first match against Sweden, The CIC is proud to honor our own St. James natives, Carlton Franco and Lincoln Phillips.
